Merry Christmas from Florence!

Dear Family & Friends,

Without going into a lot of detail this year has been and still is a blur.  Ever have one of those years?  It has been so crazy that we just don’t feel caught up or even anywhere close.   That is just the way 2014  has been and will be recorded, so we’ll go with the flow.

Sometimes we write to share a few family things that went on during the last year and in addition try and share an encouraging word or two.  This year we’ll forgo the first part but hope to pass on something that is ultimately very very encouraging.

This is a crazy world.  Few things seem fair, or in sync, or just.  If you listen to the 24 hour news cycle it simply overwhelms and becomes depressing.  The outlook from the fear-mongers is a great big collective bad.

Christmas comes to the world once a year but IF its message of love and hope be heard, it stands diametrically opposed to the world in which we live.  The news…..is  good news!  The future….. is bright!  And the promise of life and life abundant is an incredible thing all made possible because of a babe.  The celebration of this birth is like no other.

Christ our Lord is born!  The world, (for those who believe) will never be the same.  Though the mountains shake and the seas waves roll, our Lord is our rock and makes everything better and brighter.

May this truth be yours at this very special time of year.  Our Merriest of Christmas wishes for you and your family.

From the Kentucky Sztanyo’s

"for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11
